Our Specialities
Physical Therapy
Physical
Therapy is a medical specialty to promote
recovery and independence.
- The patient is treated with modalities
such as inherent properties of heat, cold,
ultrasound, electricity, and laser to facilitate
the body's natural ability to heal, reduce
pain, and restore normal functions.
- If the injury is work related injury we
work closely with the physician and the employer
to return the individual to a productive daily
pace
- Aquatic therapy is also used to restore
full functional ability.
Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic
Therapy is the use of water as a medium that
uses specific gravity, Hydrostatic pressure,
Buoyancy, Forces of fluid and the Physiological
Effects of Immersion.
- This can be used to restore normal range
of motion (ROM), normal gait mechanics and
movements patterns, introduction of loading
forces/weight bearing earlier in the recovery
phase, maximize muscle function, decrease
pain and introduce cardiovascular training
activities.
- Pool temperature is 89-92 degree.
